*PUBLIC REMINDER* Recreational Vehicles and Non-Listed Use (Revised)

Due to the increase number of calls please be reminded of the following ordinances. 

 

VILLAGE ORDINANCE REFERENCES

Recreational Vehicles in Residential Lots

 

Village Ordinance Sec. 28-722, recreational vehicles, trailers or campers shall not be used for living or housekeeping purposes when parked or stored in a residential lot, or in any location not approved for such use.

 

Non-listed Use

 

Village Ordinance Sec. 28-41, any use not specifically listed as a permitted use or a conditional use in the districts established in section 28-37 shall be considered to prohibit. However, the question shall be submitted to the planning commission for determination in accordance with the following procedure: application, investigation, public hearing, determination, and effective date of determination. This request must be in writing completing the attached Conditional Use Application.

 

Conditional Use

 

Village Ordinance Sec. 28-516, the planning commission has the authority to impose such conditions such as the period of time in which all or part of the use may be permitted.
